Roost Cafe (Salad Bar) at Jalan Dhoby, Johor Bahru.

Roost Cafe (Salad+ Bar) (N1.45717 E103.76424) also located at Jalan Dhoby of Johor Bahru which is another few shops from the Roost Juice+ Bar. The cafe is at the first floor of the corner shop of the row, where you won't miss this prominent cafe if you drive from Jalan Trus.

We visited the cafe after our dinner at Roost Juice Bar, and this cafe seems like only selling drinks and salads...
It's located on the first floor and it was a total different atmosphere compare with the Juice Bar...there is a non-air contional area once we reach the first floor...the Furniture is Awesome! The tables and chairs have a special design and all made by old timber!

There were some high bar stools which modified and made from used paint container! I was attracted by the design!

Then we walked into the another session, air-conditioned...I was Amazed!

Well...at least the First I saw it at Johor Bahru!

I couldn't snap all the tables and chairs in the cafe because of others customers around...visit yourself and witness it! :)
Beside the furniture, the creative lighting also became part of important decoration to the environment...

Didn't expect the empty Jagermiester bottle can be so nice after filled in the bulbs...

The area created an calm environment and its a nice place for friends gathering...I like it unpretentious, simple and utilitarian...

All the design, furniture and lighting made and created by the owner himself. Well, I'm happy and appreciated that the owner of the cafe (Mr Wong) is generously sharing his creativity to the public, will find a chance to chat with him in the future...
I wish I can buy one of the wooden set at the outdoor area...:)

It will be a good arrangement that having dinner at Juice Bar and enjoy the Yogurt Coffee at the Roost Salad+ Bar. The operating hour is from 6pm-12am. I will be back for SURE!

Roost Juice Bar at Jalan Dhoby, Johor Bahru.

Roost Juice Bar (N1.45707 E103.76401) located at pre-war shop lots of Jalan Dhoby, Johor Bahru downtown. This bar serve many good foods especially with the One and Only Unique 'Yogurt Juice'. I'd heard about quite sometime ago, but only until recently have a chance to step into this 'Unique' Juice Bar of Johor Bahru.

I was attracted by the rustic design at the main entrance, evoke the childhood behind...

The atmosphere was just Great! I like the 'old' setting very much!
There are few different dining area, and all the tables and chairs are different from others...and...all are 'old'...

The bar counter design was Simple & Unique! Just can't imagine that a few old mosaic tiles can created such an beautiful Art creation!
I believe the 'green' seat below is belong to the year 60s...I wish I can find one of these 'sofa'...

At the other corner was the children paradise! There were many toys display during the good old days...(except the yellow thing...)

Walking on the 'steep' staircase to the first floor might be a challenge for old peoples...the steps were slightly small compare with the standard staircase...

2 red welcoming seats appeared in front of us just right after the staircase on the first floor...

The leather briefcase was the attraction beside the seats...I like the old display cabinet and I know where to find it! :)

On the first floor, another nice 'old' design which is has a different feeling compare with the ground floor...the owner make use of the lighting to enhance the comfort dining area just felt like steped in the 'Time Machine', injected more rustic appeal to the charming interior of the bar.

Was wondering the purpose of the wooden ladder on the right...well...its actually the access to the 'mystery small room' on top of the smoking area...I will find out on my next visit...:)

I had the Hainanese Beef Noodle, my wife tasted the Grilled Chicken Chop and my daughter had the Mushroom Pasta for our weekend dinner...

Apologies that I forgot to take photo of the Mushroom Pasta. All of us had the signature drink - Mango Tango (Unique yogurt fruit juice).

The beef noodle was Awesome! Mixture with some salted vege, peanuts, tender beefs served with rice noodles. The grilled chicken chop was above average and my daughter finished her mushroom pasta! The foods were Delicious with the different dining experience! Rustic ambience!

The cafe bar is the ONLY one serve the special yogurt fruit juice in Johor Bahru for the moment. I call it as - Musuem Art Cafe. A 'Must' visit place if you happen around the area!

Second visit to Lazio Restaurant and Bar at Danga Bay, Johor Bahru.

I was invited to Lazio Restaurant and Bar at Danga Bay for food tasting on one of the Monday evening...the restaurant just hired a New Chef and going launch a whole new series of Menu. Thanks to Mr Emerson for giving me a opportunity to try out the new western foods in the restaurant.

I was a bit late for the event and I missed some starter on that evening...
The VIPs and guests were all in position to taste the Delicious Pizzas and Western foods while I was there...:)

Everyone are work seriously to ensure the pizzas are Delicious!

On the 'first half', I had many type of pizzas...some were Good and some were not that cheesy...(but it's improve a lot since my friend visited few days ago...)

I'm satisfied with all the new series of pizzas and western foods here, the Fruit Pizza was special! Well, I will definitely visit again with my family for more Yummilicious foods! :)

Once the food tasting session over, we had some Draught Beers on the next door - Lazio Bar.

I like the concept of the bar because the door will open (after 7pm) and let you feel the cool sea breeze of Johor straits...you can even choose to enjoy your drinks at the Alfesco area. That will be A different experience while having a cold beer in my hand and watching yachts pass-by...and if you are lucky, you will witness the Beautiful sunset of Danga Bay!

When the night fall, there will be a 3 pieces band (un-plug) perform on the stage and playing some nice and soft music, don't forget to request your favorite song! :)
